Exy Monster X Concept

Carlex Design has released another concept X Class and this is by far their most adventurous yet. This highly modified model adds a third axel and a new set of wheels, ass well as a widebody kit. They haven't announced pricing or availability, but they said that they do plan on bringing it to production.

I love how it looks which is far better than what Hennessey Performance did to the Raptor. Its the next in line to the G-Wagon 6x6 but of course unlike the G-Wagon, one that won't come to market.
Still would be cool to see some limited production for anyone interested which i'm sure there is. After all, look how well the G-Wagon did.

I've never understood the point of these conversions. Is it just for stroking your ego and bragging rights? Surely the extra weight that's been added is going to offset some of the improvements with off road capability.

Its just what happen when there's a need for more. It happens with everything, homes, watches, etc.
Far from our motivations for buying the X-Class but if your super wealthy its easily justified.

Just realized that a 6x6 version of the Ford Raptor is out, further proving the demand for these.
It might be serving a small group but its enough of them to justify companies coming out with 6x6's.

Limited production models like this are not developed to fulfill a 'need'. Its only for the extremely wealthy who want something that no one else has. I've even see a 6x6 converted Wrangler that had a 707hp Hellcat engine swap. There is no scenario where you would need a truck like that. But the few of these that get built will be bought sooner or later.

Yep, its just competition at that point and there's no problem with that.
There's also a growing amount of super wealthy folks that create demand beyond what the industry can keep up with.
It was good enough for a company called Devel to develop their own 6x6 vehicle.
