Mercedes has just confirmed full pricing and specs for the new V6 powered X 350d. It's available to order now and will be priced at £46,020, which makes it £7,840 more expensive than the 250d. The new 3.0l engine produces 254bhp and 550Nm of torque. The new powertrain makes it capable of doing the 0-60 sprint in only 7.9 seconds.

That's a fairly significant price hike, but it does provide an additional 70 horsepower and torque over the 250d. The only issue now is whether or not MB plans on offering it outside of the UK.
I don't interest in the X Class has been what MB was hoping for. When it first launched there were lots of criticisms as to whether or not enough was done to this rebadged Navara. If they do plan on an international release, I think it'll probably be the 350d.

Mercedes did what Nissan couldn't do and that is offer a luxurious pick-up that people would immediately gravitate to.

For some people just knowing its a luxurious Mercedes Pick-Up for the average consumer, they're sold.
I also don't think its going to be regular pickup truck owners who are interested in the X Class. I feel like its being seen oriented as more of a luxury vehicle with a some added utility, as opposed to a proper work truck.
I haven't seen a whole lot of off road performance tests, so that suggests that most consumers aren't really interested in that capability. The main criticisms have been around the cabin, which isn't quite up to par with the expectations of a MB product. I'm sure this will be addressed in the first refresh.
