Tow Bar electrics

Hi all. I have a 2018 uk spec 250d and I bought it with the 13 pin towing electrics fitted. It does not supply a power source to my caravan for both charging or fridge supply. Is there an extra piece of kit I need to purchase or is it a fault. Thanks in advance
