Hello,

My name is Nicolas, I'm service engineer working for MB in Chile. We have a lot of experience with new X class series (X Class is sold from March 2018).

I want to interchange experiences and tips with this model, I'll try to contribuite with this forum.

I share with you a photo making high altitude test and comparison between X350d and GLE350d in the north of Chile over 4800masl.

Regards.

Welcome Nicolas.

Glad to have someone like yourself join the community.

My biggest concern with the X-Class is the fact it might show too many of its Nissan roots. Have you noticed any of that so far? I'm hoping it comes off as a true Mercedes product, even among the Nissan underpinnings.
Hi @Nicolas Veiga, have you been experiencing any issues with your X-Class so far? I've been hearing a concerning amount of negative feedback.
I'm curious to know as well about issues.
Apparently road noise is one of them and something I expected being a shared dev product and not 100% Mercedes.
@benzventure Apparently some people have been able to get rid of some road noise with better tires but i'm not completely convinced. For me it might come down to a combination of things like tires, some sound proofing and whatever else I can get my hands on. Reducing wind noise is on my list as well.

How good/bad noise levels are can vary from person to person all depending on experience. Its a pickup... I don't set my expectations too high.
Have you seen development around MB's plans to go electric?

It should eventually include the X-Class but start with transitioning existing hybrids.

An electric X-Class might be the solution to a more refined Mercedes pickup.

I completely agree with you, the transition to an all-electric X-class is a cool event.I haven't been following Mercedes ' news lately, so I don't know what's going on with them right now, but I really hope that they will introduce such a car soon. My friend has an electric car and he has absolutely no problems. This is a very reliable car, which he has been driving for several years. I am sure that Mercedes will be able to produce a car as good as this one. I'm really looking forward to the release and thinking about the acquisition. Since I had old and unreliable wiring in my garage, I replaced it with electrician charlotte nc, so I'm completely ready to switch to electric cars!
