I thought we've seen it all when Mercedes came out with the short bed X-Class and now there's a camouflaged X-Class pickup with an even larger bed. The Nissan Navara that this is based on has a longer 70.3-inch bed option, which could be the dimensions of what we're seeing here. Personally think this is unnecessary with a non-work oriented pickup, but some may prefer the extra cargo space.

At least they are coming to market with a wide array of models and options, though I'm inclined to agree that this probably wont be used as a traditional work truck. Imo the longer bed throws off the proportions of the truck and will only increase its cost.
