Hi all,
I bought a new x350d power last year and had a Hardkorr light bar fitted as we do a lot of night country driving in Australia, meaning kangaroos everywhere !.
Without the light bar, the Mercedes lights are outright dangerous, so after three attempts at adjustment by Mercedes and two merc dealers later, we have improved low beam but high beams are just useless, effectively small pin lights and one shoots owls out of trees !
We also own a GLC which has superb low and high beam headlights so my question is simply, does the x350d power with LED have poor headlight performance or is there a fix ?

The renewed Mercedes X-Class family has recently been presented. On the X350D model, the intelligent headlights debuted for the first time. The control of the headlight unit, consisting of 24 individually controllable LEDs, is entrusted to a camera that constantly monitors the traffic situation and signs. "Smart headlights" can automatically adjust light intensity to illuminate everything the driver needs at the moment but at the same time not dazzle the oncoming traffic. However, perfection is not limited, and the Germans have already improved these optics. Apart from all that, I lacked a certain zest, and strip lights served as it.

I don't think you can fix anything, because if the car is new, that's how it is set at the factory. You might try to change the led lights or stop driving so often on the roads of Australia. I have exactly the same car model, but I don't see these lights' poor headlight performance. I did not change the lights, and I hope not to do it soon; what I added were these lights from https://www.amazon.com/car-lights-car-led-lights/dp/B09L86JRRM inside the car. My car is like new; these lights give me such a party or holiday vibe every time I get in the car.

I agree! Just bought new to me X Class Ed 1 and disappointed in the LED headlights
Been looking at lazerlamps with a in grill kit ?!
Looks like it will need a canbus sensor kit. From CanM8
